The location of this hotel is perfect, just next to the railroad and very close to the ski lift. It's so convenient to walk to the slopes and start skiing right away.

Everything was great, no complaints at all.

One of the things we liked best was the stunning scenery. the snow-capped peaks and the surrounding forests were breathtaking. We also enjoyed the ski lifts, which were conveniently located just a short walk away from the hotel. Another great aspect was the hospitality of the staff.

the locals didn't speak much English, so we had a hard time communicating.

Additionally, the location of the hotel is perfect for snow lovers as it is close to the slope, on the mountains, and near the ski lift. The basic amenities provided are more than sufficient for a comfortable stay.

I enjoyed the convenient location of the hotel, with several attractions nearby and easy access to the slopes. the room was spacious and clean, with soft linens and a well-appointed bathroom. the friendly service staff provided a helpful and seamless check-in process, and the breakfast spread was generous and delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.

The hotel fell short with its lack of soundproofing, as street noise and loud chatter from other guests could be easily heard throughout the night.

The Hirschenhof in Spital am Semmering was an absolute gem of a find during our ski trip to the Austrian mountains. The location was perfect, with the hotel just next to the railroad and a short walk away from the bus stop in the village. We couldn't have asked for a more convenient spot, especially since it was also close to the ski lift. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and treated us like family. Elisabeth, who we believe was the manager or owner, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Despite the language barrier, she made sure we felt welcome and even shared some interesting facts about the town and her family in Chicago. The rooms were cozy and clean, with a very nice view of the beautiful surroundings. The attention to detail in the basic amenities provided was commendable. We were also pleasantly surprised by the great value for money, especially considering the prices in other hotels in the area. The breakfast served in this hotel was a real treat, with a decent selection of items to choose from. our experience at this hotel was top-notch and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable stay in the Austrian mountains.

No aspect to be improved, everything was spot on.

Spent Xmas with family at a hotel in the Austrian Alps and it was wonderful! Loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and clean, and had a well-equipped kitchenette which was perfect for preparing our Xmas dinner. Plus, the location was ideal, just a short walk to the slopes and a nearby grocery store for all our needs. But the best part was waking up to the beautiful view of the snow-covered mountains every morning.

There were a few downsides to our stay. The hotel was undergoing some construction which was a bit bothersome and caused some dust in our room. Also, there was no breakfast available due to the construction, which was a bit disappointing. But overall, it was still a great experience and we would definitely consider coming back in the future.
